Digital Content Production Course Begins at Seijo University

Beginning in April 2026, Leona Takahashi, representative of LeonaSoftware, is teaching Special Topics in Business Administration B at the Faculty of Economics, Seijo University. The first class was held on April 8, launching a series of 15 Wednesday sessions during the spring semester.

The course is subtitled "Digital Content Production: Understanding the Digital Native Cycle of Conceiving, Building, and Selling through Practical Experience in the Japanese and Chinese Game Industries."

Drawing on professional experience in the game industries of Japan and China, the course examines the complete process of planning, developing, marketing, and selling digital content. Rather than viewing a game solely as a creative work, students consider the entire production cycle from a producer’s perspective, including how a product reaches its audience and develops into a sustainable business.

The course also introduces practical examples from LeonaSoftware’s work in game development, publishing, Japanese-Chinese localization, international expansion, and overseas exhibitions to explore the rapidly changing digital content industry.
