On January 27, 2026, LeonaSoftware and the 3D generative AI platform Meshy co-hosted the Meshy Japan Meetup hands-on workshop at the International Professional University of Technology in Tokyo.
The event was held at the Cocoon Tower near Shinjuku Station and brought together creators and industry professionals interested in applying generative AI to game development, animation, and 3D content production.
Members of Meshy’s Shanghai office joined the event to introduce the platform’s latest features and practical applications. During the hands-on session, participants experienced the complete workflow, from generating 3D models using text and images to animating the resulting assets. The program also included opportunities to speak directly with the Meshy team and a prize drawing for original merchandise.
A networking session allowed participants to exchange ideas about using 3D generative AI in game and animation production. LeonaSoftware will continue creating opportunities for creators to experience emerging production technologies and connect with one another.
